African Fashion, Style and Design
Africa is an enormous continent, here I feature African designers, Dutch “African” wax prints, as well as African-inspired design with a big focus on printed cotton batik fabrics and crisp silhouettes, large rhythmic print motifs and unique colors that made me fall in love with African fashion and beauty in the early 90s living in Paris and New York City, and singing in African American gospel choirs.
